The Corporate One Award is recognition of a corporation’s outstanding leadership and participation as a Module Leader for *Project ONE, in addition to a successful established supplier diversity program.

*Project ONE is an initiative of the Michigan Minority Business Development Council (MMBDC) to grow minority business enterprises (MBEs) which have the capacity to compete for corporate contracts. It is where the customer (corporations) and suppliers (MBEs) sit and meet as one team. Some of the benefits of Project ONE include, but are not limited to, providing opportunities for MBEs to bring their capabilities to the attention of the appropriate personnel from participating corporate members. Enhancing the ability of module MBEs to provide opportunities to other MBEs. It also encourages module corporations to benchmark processes for successful corporate diversity programs with other participating corporations.

The Trailblazer Award recognizes outstanding minority/majority partnerships.

The Corporation of the Year Award is an award given to the corporation that can successfully demonstrate their contribution to the growth and development of minority businesses in their business sector.
