Corporate Overview

Founded in 1924, we served as a general contractor for nearly fifty years. Then, in the early 1970s, we broadened our services to include construction management with full preconstruction services, coordinating projects from planning through close-out.

In the early 1980s, the company was organized by markets - health care, sports, education, and corporate/industrial facilities - to develop a high level of expertise in the markets we serve. Our Preconstruction group, formed in 1986 to support these groups with a reliable estimating system, has grown to 41 full-time engineers and architects; their expertise now includes all facets of project planning, value engineering and manpower planning.

The corporation employs over 1,000 full-time staff, including 350+ trades personnel, and has experience in 37 states and the District of Columbia. Our revenues for the previous five years were in excess of $1 billion annually. We are consistently ranked among the top 10 builders in the nation in our niche markets.

Our headquarters office is in Southfield, Michigan, with regional offices in Maryland, Virginia, Arizona, Ohio, Illinois, Florida and Georgia. Project control centers are established at all major project sites.
